About

The Bonduel Area Fire Department consists of 32 paid-on-call firefighters, including the Fire Chief, Assistant Fire Chief, Captain, two Lieutenants, a Training Officer, and a Safety Officer. The Bonduel Area Fire Department covers 36 square miles within the Village of Bonduel and Township of Hartland. All firefighters are trained to meet the state level firefighter I certification. In addition, a large portion of our members continue training to become certified in other aspects of the career such as Haz-Mat, Firefighter II, Fire Inspectors and Fire Instructors.

The Bonduel Area Fire Department’s Mission for the Village of Bonduel, Town of Hartland and all visitors in the area is to save lives and protect property through fire and rescue response and fire prevention. To respond immediately when any member of the community needs help with professional, effective and compassionate service.

Meetings

The Bonduel Area Fire Department hold a business/equipment check meeting the second Tuesday of each month at 6:30 p.m. The in-house training meeting is held the fourth Tuesday of each month at 6:00 p.m. Meetings are held that the Bonduel Fire Department located in the Public Safety Building, located at 201 S. First Street, Bonduel.

The Bonduel Area Fire Department is accepting application for firefighter positions. Training is required and will be provided. Interested individuals need to reside in the Village of Bonduel or the Town of Hartland, must be 18 years of age, complete an application and pass a background check.
